Looking for Eric (2009)

IMDB rating: 7.50

Plot: Eric Bishop, a middle-aged postman working for the Manchester sorting office, is going through a dreadful crisis. For starters, his second life companion has not resurfaced although she was released from prison a few months ago. He is left alone with two stepsons to look after, which is no bed of roses since the two teens disrespect him and keep disobeying him. To make matters worse, Ryan, the older boy, fascinated by Zac, a dangerous gangster, has accepted to hide his gun in Eric’s house. On the other hand, he is asked by Sam, his student daughter who has a newborn baby,to get back in touch with Lily, his separated wife. Now, Eric left her not long after she gave back to their daughter. As a result Eric panics… Having lost all his bearings, Eric Bishop soliloquizes face to the poster of his idol, another Eric, French footballer Eric Cantona, when the latter appears just like the genie out of Aladdin’s lamp. Through a series of aphorisms peculiar to him, the footballer-philosopher will help remorse-ridden desperate Eric Bishop to get by.

How would you feel of a Horesman stable that consisted of AJ Styles, Eric Young, Bobby Roode, and James Storm?
We all know it is going to happen since Ric Flair is there TNA will try to make there own version of the horsemen. I say go for it and these wrestlers should be apart of the group.

AJ Styles (Ric Flair): We all know how great of a wrestler he is but imagine if he incorporated some of the NWA style of wrestling. I am not saying make him Flair Jr. but have him incorporate the reverse (inverted) figure 4 into his arsenal, keep him in suits when he is not wrestling, and for the "drama feel" have him incorporate that he is a married man and father but he constantly has women around him.

Eric Young (Ole Anderson, Barry Windham): The Eric Young heel turn was a stroke of genius, and I couldnt see nobody else being one of the mouth pieces for this group other than Young. I could just see in the promos how he would just smirk in the back round, then jumps in and state the obvious. Even though AJ is the leader but Eric Young would have to be the more vile and sinister member in a sense he would be Ric Flairs lieutenant making sure the title stays on AJ and everything runs smoothly.

Bobby Roode (Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard): Only second to AJ would he the most stylish, and cocky member, and he already was big the tough guy enforcer gimmick. Have him be a womanizer and come to the ring with a different women every week and have him do most of the dirty work (he would basically be the guy you have to beat before you get a shot at AJ), and he would be a staple in the Global Title hunt.

James Storm (Arn Anderson, Barry Windham): He has been in TNA just as long as AJ he would be closest confidant, and if anything the guy to put AJ Styles in check if he gets head of himself or out of line. When AJ does not have the title he will be one of the main guys in title contention (hell i wouldnt mind seeing him have a 3 month run with it), and he would also share the enforcer duties with Roode (Roode would be the guy you have to beat, Storm would lead the backstage attacks, and the in your face confrontations).

Ric Flair (JJ Dillon, Bobby Heenan): The mouthpiece, shoulder rubber, hypeman for the horsemen, barking orders, giving pep talks throwing brass nuckles in the ring, grabbing refs, etc. He treats the Horsemen like they are his kids but not equally (AJ is the favorite son, and Roode is the second favorite (he constantly throws AJ’slengers in front of Roode to prove his worth), Eric is the son that he confides in and is usually second in command (just for the fact that he can more vile, sinister and cunning than the rest of the group), and Storn is his Elder Statesmen, that he has look aout for the others beyond anything else no matter what.

THAT WOULD BE A GREAT STABLE.’

I LIKE YOUR THINKING

Would be better if Beer Money was replaced with either The Nasty Boys or Generation Me

I hate to break it to you, but this would never happen.

A)Just because a group of 4 people get together doesnt make them the latest version of the 4 horsemen, they would need to be their own group and own background

B)The whole point of the horsemen was that they were a group who could contend with every title. Arn Anderson wouldn’t go after the World Title, so why would James Storm?

C)So both Robert Roode and James Storm would be Arn Anderson?
