IMDB rating: 7.90 Plot: Bhatinda-based Geet Dhillon lives a wealthy lifestyle along with her parents and extended family consisting of her paternal grandfather, uncle, and a cousin, Roop. She re-locates to study in Mumbai and lives in a hostel. On her way home she boards the Punjab Mail on Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus and gets to share her berth with a young man named Aditya Kashyap. She finds him rather depressing and when he attempts to jump off the train, she stops him, and attempts to cheer him up with her non-stop chatter – albeit in vain. At Bar Nagar he alights from the train and she follows, both end up missing the train and take a taxi-cab to Ratlam which is the train’s next stop. They barely make it, Aditya goes his way, but Geet misses the train which goes on it’s way to Kota along with Geet’s belongings. Both meet again and end up spending a few hours at a motley hotel, but their stay is interrupted when Police swoop down on it, forcing them to flee along with other guests. They trek the rest of the way by bus, then by car and end up at Geet’s residence where preparations are under way for Geet’s marriage with her childhood friend, Manjeet Singh Mann. But Geet wants to marry Manali-based Anshuman, so she plans a getaway with Aditya’s help, leaving the Dhillon family to construe that both had eloped. Nine months later the Dhillons catch up with Aditya and ask him to bring her back to Bhatinda within 10 days. Aditya, who has been dumped by his girlfriend, has his mom run away with another male, have his dad pass away recently, apart from carrying the load of Kashyap Group of Industries, must now contend with the Dhillon family. The question remains is Geet living with Aditya or is she with Anshuman, and if she is with Aditya – why would it take him 10 days to bring her back to Bhatinda? |

Help, please?! I really like my friend, but I don't know what to do now… I'm so lost…?!?!?
Ok, well, I’m 16, and I moved to the U.S. from Britain when I was 10. I had been friends with this guy, Ashley (he’s 16, as well) when I lived in Britain. Our dads worked in the same business, and my dad was offered a job in the U.S., so we moved here. I stayed in touch with Ashley a lot, though, and his dad was offered a job really close to us about a year ago. So, lucky for me, Ashley now lives in the same town as me, and goes to the same school. Well, Ashley’s family got all moved in in November. Anyways, he’s really nice, and funny and great to be around, I mean, I’ve spent a ton of time with him since he moved here, because I just love every aspect of his personality. Well, I really, really like him. I’ve known him since I was 4, and even when I was living here, we were really close friends… but when I saw him in person for the first time since I moved, I was like, "…Woah," because he’s reallyyy attractive, and I’ve LOVED getting to spend so much time in person with him. Anyways, he’s told me multiple times that I’m "so pretty, now," and he’ll say things when we’re hanging out, like, "Hey, hot stuff," and look at me to see what kind of reaction he gets. He jokes around and makes a lot of sexual innuendos involving him and I (no, he’s not a pig. I think they’re hilarious) and always hugs me and touches me (not innapropriately…), etc… I think he might like me, because he hints around a lot and sort of tests the waters between us… What do you think? Do you think he might like me?
Well, tonight, I went over my dad’s house (I live with my mom) and Ashley came with me to meet my dad, stepmom, and younger half-sister. My sister went to bed, and my dad and stepmom were in the living room, so Ashley and I were in my room, watching TV, and messing around on my laptop, etc… just having fun. So I started taking pictures of us together to post on Facebook, and in one, I was pretending to lick his face, but I slipped, and actually did (lol.) So we started laughing, and joking around, he said, "Cool, now just try that about… 2 feet lower… and with no clothes on." So I sort of jabbed him in the arm, and laughed. We were looking at the pictures we took, and in one of them, I was sitting, and he was standing behind me, with his chin on my head, and he said "Oh, look how cute we are!" and smiled. So I looked at him, and I said, "Would you ever want to be more than just my friend..?" or something along those lines… I was really nervous so I don’t remember exactly. His eyes got really wide, and he turned kind of red, and sort of said "Uhhhmm." But then my stepmom came in, and after she left, I didn’t ask him again… I’m so confused. I mean, he kept acting all touchy-feely, and making jokes, and everything, so I don’t think it was a negative… But I’m so lost. If he’s going to be that nervous, I don’t know how to ask him or bring it up again. What should I do?! Help!
Well I think you should talk to him as soon as possible so he knows what you really think. Just tell him you do wanna be his girlfriend. call him right now!

I think that he does and was probably just not expecting it. Only time will tell, but I think it will turn out eventually.

In reading this my first thought was that your friend might be gay, or at least confused. Have you seen the movie "Clueless"? Remember the guy Cher really liked who turned out to be gay? That’s what your friend’s behavior reminds me of. There’s certainly nothing wrong with being gay, but it isn’t very nice to flirt with girls you have no intention of dating if one does happen to be gay (especially if one is still "in the closet").
